About Us
We started back in 2009, and not because anyone sat down and planned an agency. Andy and Leigh Donnelly were working wedding musicians with far more enquiries than one band could ever play, so rather than turn couples away with nothing, they began pointing them towards the few other acts they'd watched live and would happily put their own name to. Seventeen years on, that's still exactly how the roster gets built.
Coast is now Scotland's leading curated live entertainment agency, with around 70 acts managed exclusively under one roof: wedding bands, function bands, ceilidh bands, mobile discos and event entertainers. We've never been a directory or a listings site. Every act here is hand-picked and invite-only, and if we wouldn't book them for our own wedding, they don't make it on.
Which means you're not scrolling through hundreds of anonymous profiles hoping to guess right, you're choosing from a small, carefully curated roster of acts we've personally vetted, watched live and brought onto the team because they're genuinely among the best in the country.
Whichever act you land on, you can watch proper video of them playing, read what other couples actually said about the night and go through the setlist, then check your date and get a full price in seconds. If it's the one, you can book it online there and then, at eleven at night if that's when the two of you finally get a minute to sit down together.
