What are your standard performance times?
8pm till midnight
I'm not sure what my timings are going to be yet, is there any flexibility on the standard timings?
Of course, we’re happy to move thinks around a little for early starts or later finishes, or to suit the venue in serving food for your evening guests.
How long do you take for your break? Are you able to play background music during this time?
We take 30 minutes for our break. We play a mix of popular songs for you through our PA system, but you can send us your own playlist if you’d like to pick the songs yourself.
Can I pick the songs that you'll play on the night?
We pride ourselves in being able to tailor our set to suit your guests, years of experience allows us to read the room as we go along, but that said we’re always happy to take a few requests if you give us a few weeks to learn them!
Will you learn our first dance if it's a song that you don't already know?
Yes, that’s all part of the service! We ask for 4 weeks’ notice to allow us to fit it into our rehearsal schedule and make sure it’s spot on for you.
Can you take any requests on the night?
Definitely! If it’s something we know we’ll be more than happy to play it - and we’ll always try our best even if we don’t know it but think we can have a go!
My venue has a 1am license, do you offer an extension to keep the night going until then?
Absolutely, we can play for an extra hour or we can provide a DJ set!
Do you offer any other add-on options?
We do! We can provide a daytime acoustic set for your drinks reception, either as solo singer or as a duo – brilliant options to keep your guests entertained while you’re getting your photos taken.
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
Yes, we have a top-of-the-line Yamaha digital PA system and portable LED lights for your dancefloor – we’ve got you covered.
What do you think your clients love most about your performances?
It might sound a bit strange, but they love that we don’t sound like a wedding band! They often say that they felt like they had hired a band that they would normally see at a concert to play for them.
Which artists are you most influenced by?
We like a bit of everything from The Beatles to Sam Fender, but our favourites tend to be indie bands!
Can you provide a ceilidh set? If so, could you give us more info about this - how long does it last, what instruments do you play, can you call the dances for our guests?
For most clients who just want a few dances for a bit of fun, we use playback of a live ceilidh band with us calling the dance instructions. For those who take their ceilidh a bit more seriously, we have fantastic accordionist who can be hired for one hour for a small additional fee (availability pending).
