How much time do you need for set up & sound check?
It takes us an hour to get everything set up and sounding EPIC.
What are your standard performance times?
8pm till midnight.
I'm not sure what my timings are going to be yet, is there any flexibility on the standard timings?
HELL NO! (just kidding). Most venues have their schedule down to a fine art and the standard 8pm-12am times will be the best fit for 99% of venues.
We do offer different packages if you require an earlier start or want to add a disco set at the end of the night though.
How long do you take for your break? Are you able to play background music during this time?
30 mins and yes, we can play some background music to keep the party going (or as a background to folk devouring the buffet).
Can I pick the songs that you'll play on the night?
You are more than welcome to let us know the types of songs you like and we'll try and squeeze it in.
But don't be fooled by everything on our set list! When we play a song it doesn't always sound how you might think. Our Chasing Cars has a mad Reggie vibe... our Superstition has a Jazz section... We squeeze Nirvana lyrics into the most awkward spaces lol.
Will you learn our first dance if it's a song that you don't already know?
100%. But we are also cool with playing the original recorded version - we won’t be offended! We know that some delicate songs do not translate well to being sung by a large rocking ginger man.
Can you take any requests on the night?
If we know it even 12%... you can bet we'll give it a right good go! Always feel free to ask 😊
My venue has a 1am license, do you offer an extension to keep the night going until then?
We offer a disco set option for this! It’s a playlist of stuff that will keep your night going.
There are 3 main playlists we work from... a ROCK one... a DANCE one and a modern HITS type one. But if you have a specific playlist that you'd like us to play we can accommodate that too, just send us a playlist or have someone’s phone/iPad ready for us to plug in on the night.
Do you offer any other add-on options?
We did offer a strip-a-gram service... but have yet to take a booking.
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
Yes. We bring everything we need and it’s all included in your quote.
If your event is in an enormous room (like SEC enormous) and you’ve got 1,000 guests coming, then PA wise.... like the Jaws movie.... “We're going to need a bigger boat”.
What do you think your clients love most about your performances?
The personal touch. By the end of the night... we'll probably know your family and friends better than you do lol.
P.S. asking us to hang about after the wedding for a few laughs is cool and if were not up early the next day we're defo up for it :)
Which artists are you most influenced by?
Tough to answer since we're all over the map. Everything from lovely country singing to the bounciest guitar riffs. Perhaps if the Foo's, Bon Jovi and Steps had a baby...
Can you provide a ceilidh set? If so, could you give us more info about this - how long does it last, what instruments do you play, can you call the dances for our guests?
We can! It can last anywhere up to 40 mins, but honestly I've never seen a crowd fit enough to make it that long! We use tracks and explain how to do the moves, then call the steps throughout (and laugh very hard when you fall over).
