How much time do you need for set up & sound check?
We need a full hour from getting access to the room to set up. This ensures we’ve got plenty time to fully set up including our lighting rig and complete a sound check to ensure that you’re getting the best possible sound for the night.
What are your standard performance times?
8pm to Midnight with a 30 minute break included.
I'm not sure what my timings are going to be yet, is there any flexibility on the standard timings?
Yes definitely! As a standard you book us for a 4 hour set including a 30min break, if you need us to start a little later or finish earlier, we’re happy to work with you as long as you let us know in advance.
How long do you take for your break? Are you able to play background music during this time?
We take a 30min break, usually when the evening buffet is served, and we can absolutely provide background music during this time. You can even share a playlist with us if there’s some specific songs that you want to hear during our break.
Can I pick the songs that you'll play on the night?
We have a really extensive set list covering loads of styles and artists. You’re more than welcome to let us know if there’s a handful of songs from that list that you definitely want (or don’t want) to hear on the night.
We have a huge amount of experience playing at weddings and other events between us, so you can trust us to read the room and mix it up as required based on the crowd in front of us.
Will you learn our first dance if it's a song that you don't already know?
Yes absolutely, just make sure to give us around 6 weeks notice. If you’d rather we played the original, we can do that too and won’t take offence!
Can you take any requests on the night?
Yes, within reason lol! We’ll always try our best to accommodate any requests for you or your guests. If it’s a song we can’t play, we can always play the original or include it during the break!
My venue has a 1am license, do you offer an extension to keep the night going until then?
We do! We offer a 1hr DJ set option (this is great for including some songs that wouldn’t be suited to a live band) or we can offer an extension to our live set.
Do you offer any other add-on options?
We also offer an acoustic daytime set which is a brilliant option for your drinks reception during the day. We can provide a 2 hour set including vocals and acoustic guitar.
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
Yes, we take great pride in having top of the range equipment!
What do you think your clients love most about your performances?
We’re high energy, we engage with the crowd in front of us and we want to have as much fun on the night as your guests do! We know how to read a room and will play hit after hit to keep the dance floor bouncing.
Which artists are you most influenced by?
We are influenced by every style of music from the 60s till modern day charts. Everyone in the band having so many different influences means there’s something in our set list for everyone.
Can you provide a ceilidh set? If so, could you give us more info about this - how long does it last, what instruments do you play, can you call the dances for our guests?
Yes, we provide a 30 minute live ceilidh with drums, guitars, bass, and keyboard. We cover the Gay Gordons, Dashing White Sargent and Strip The Willow and we’ll call all of the dances to keep your guests right with the steps.
